BoB Net Banking

Bank of Baroda’s internet banking solution is named ‘BoB World Internet Banking,’ which offers customers a complete suite of compatible, user-friendly, customisable services anywhere, anytime, at their convenience.

It enables users to create digital liquidate fixed deposits, manage several accounts, request chequebooks, transfer money, pay their taxes and utility bills, and so much more. Here is a list of some of the many BoB net banking services:

BoB Net Banking: How to Register?

As a customer, corporate or retail, you must have an ATM/debit card, a registered mobile number, and a bank account passbook.

You can register for BoB net banking or BoB World Internet Banking services through the following 2 channels:

1. Debit/ATM card

  • Step 1: Visit the Bank of Baroda’s official website and select the ‘Internet Banking’ option under ‘Ways to Bank’ from the home page.
  • Step 2: Next, go to ‘Retail User Login’ and choose the ‘Online Registration using Debit Card’ option.
  • Step 3: Fill in the verification code and select ‘Continue’ to proceed further.
  • Step 4: Enter all the required debit card information, such as ATM PIN, card number etc. and select the ‘Validate’ option.
  • Step 5: Next, fill in all the required user information and enter the desired user ID, transaction password, and login password. 
  • Step 6: Select the ‘Next’ option, and a success message will appear displaying the user ID.

2. Visit the Nearest BoB Branch

  • Step 1: Visit the Bank of Baroda’s official website and download the net banking form from the home page. Alternatively, you can also collect the application form from the bank branch.
  • Step 2: Fill in the required information and submit the form at the branch.
  • Step 3: After processing the application, the bank will send your user ID via post to the specified address.
  • Step 4: Next, collect your password from the same branch that processed the application.  

BoB Net Banking Portal: How to Login?

Once you receive the user ID and password, follow these simple steps to log in to your BoB net banking account:

  • Step 1: Visit Bank of Baroda’s official website and choose the ‘Internet Banking’ option available under the ‘login’ section of the home page.
  • Step 2: Fill in your ‘User ID’ and select the ‘Login’ option. Next, enter the password (generated during registration) and select ‘Submit’ to successfully log in to your account.

BoB Net Banking: How to Change or Reset the Login Password

Make sure you reset or change your password after the 1st login. There may also be other instances requiring a password change. For example, you might forget your password or wish to change it due to security reasons.

Here’s how you can change or reset the login password for your BoB net banking or Baroda Connect account:

  • Step 1: Visit Bank of Baroda’s official website and choose the ‘Internet Banking’ option available under the ‘login’ section of the home page.
  • Step 2: Fill in your ‘User ID’ and choose the ‘Set Password/Forgot Password’ option appearing below the ’Login’ option.
  • Step 3: Next, select the ‘Regenerate Passwords using OTP/ Activation code’ option and enter your mobile number.
  • Step 4: An OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number along with an activation code to the registered email ID.
  • Step 5: Fill in the received OTP and activation code and select the ‘Next’ option.
  • Step 6: Enter the preferred password and then select the ‘Set/Reset password’ option.
  • Step 7: A confirmation message appears indicating that the password has been successfully changed. Now you can log in to your BoB World Internet Banking account with the changed password.  

BoB Net Banking: How to Transfer Funds?

You can transfer funds through one of the three transfer services: Immediate Payment Service (IMPS) (via IFSC/MMID), Real-Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) option or National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT) service. Let’s look into the process in detail:

Follow the below steps to transfer funds online via BoB net banking facility:

  • Step 1: Visit the Bank of Baroda’s official website and log in to your BoB World Internet Banking account.
  • Step 2: Click on the ‘Fund Transfer’ option and choose the ‘Other Bank’ option.
  • Step 3: Now select one of the three services you want to transfer funds through: ‘IMPS’, ‘RTGS’, or ‘NEFT’.
  • Step 4: Fill in all the required information.
  • Step 5: Select ‘OK’ to confirm the transfer details and complete the fund transfer.

Most of the services offered by BoB World Internet Banking are free of cost. However, you may incur charges for stop payment and chequebooks.

Q2. Can all account holders use BoB net banking services?

Minor or dormant accounts, holders of garnishee accounts, and inoperative account holders are not eligible to use BoB net banking services.

Q3. Can funds be transferred on weekends using BoB net banking?

Yes, BoB UPI services allow you to transfer funds even on Saturdays and Sundays. If permitted by the bank, you can transfer funds even on public and bank holidays.

Q4. How long does it take to receive the BoB World Internet Banking User ID?

It generally takes 7 working days for the bank to send your user ID to the specified address.
