  • Per transaction limit – Non-individual/Corporate Customers can request their account maintaining branch to assign separate per transaction limit. The per transaction limit can be assigned to the overall daily limit.
  • OTP via Email feature for Individual/Retail Residents – Contacting their Branches will allow Individual/Retail Customers who are traveling for a brief time to temporarily activate Email OTP. 
  • IPO – Profile Registration – Customers are given the option for profile registration under IPO–>Profile Registration.

What is IOB Net Banking Registration process?

  • User needs to go to IOB Internet Banking home page https://iob.in/
  • Click the “Register” link that appears below the “Personal Login” button.
  • The user must provide their basic data, which includes their country, mobile number, email address, and 15-digit account number. Create an online banking login ID, choose a password, and hit the submit button.
  • Upon successful validation, the user will be able to choose between activation through a branch or self-activation (using debit card validation). The user may choose to move forward with any option. 
  • f the user is not qualified for self-activation following validation, they will be referred to Branch for activation, and… To the customer’s registered mobile number with CBS, an OTP will be delivered. The Internet banking branch approval form will be downloaded and printed by the customer upon OTP verification, with the data being preserved.
  • If the user selects ‘activation through branch’, then steps as in point 5 will be followed. 7. If the user opts for self-activation, steps as in point 8 will be followed.  If the user opts for self-activation (through debit card validation), he/she will be required to enter the following details: a. Debit Card Number b. The expiry date of the debit card c. Debit Card PIN 
  • On submitting the above details, OTP will be sent to the user’s mobile no. registered with the Bank. On successful verification of OTP and card details, Internet banking will be approved without fund transfer and following message will be displayed to the customer regarding same:

Steps to Activate IOB Net Banking

  • Customers can quickly log in at www.indianbank.net.in, the Indian bank’s online site, and choose “New User” under “Register online.”
  • After entering your registered mobile number and account number, click “Submit.”
  • You will receive an OTP on the registered mobile number you provided. In the appropriate field, type the OTP details.
  • Once the OTP is verified, fill the remaining fields on the page with respect to D.o.B, email id etc.
  • After this, the customer has the option of selecting the kind of online access he/she desires, whether ‘view only’ or ‘view and transact’.
