It was issued by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) and contains your personal and biometric information. How to Change/Update DOB In Aadhaar card Offline?
- Locate the nearest center. Visit the nearest Aadhaar Enrolment/Update Center.
- Fill all the details required in the Aadhaar Update or Correction Form which you can easily get from the center itself or online.
- Attach required documents for proof of birthdate like a passport, birth certificate, Aadhaar card or any government-issued identity..
- Use biometric authentication to verify your identity.
- Once the process is complete, you will receive a receipt with your URN number. Using it you can track your update request.

If the change limit has been reached, you will be unable to update DOB again via the regular approach. You can file a grievance on UIDAI website or by visiting local UIDAI regional office with required documents. You can attempt filing a grievance with UIDAI and visiting the regional UIDAI office with sufficient supporting documentation.

How to Update DOB Once the Limit Exceeds?
Date of birth can be updated by submitting required documents but if you need to update after the limit exceeds then you need to submit a birth certificate on the nearest aadhaar centre.
In case your request got rejected after the limit exceeded then give a call on 1947 or email and request for update through the regional office and include EID/SRN number.
If you already have added DOB in Aadhaar by submitting a birth certificate with a different date, cancel the previous birth certificate before getting a new one with a different date.
When sending the email, attach all relevant documents such as the EID slip of the most recent enrolment, the new birth certificate, the affidavit, and the cancelled birth certificate if a birth certificate with a different date has already been filed.
