  • Open a web browser on your device, head to the official SBI net banking portal or click here.
  • Log in to this portal using your SBI net banking credentials
  • Go to ‘My Accounts’ and click on ‘Profile’.
  • Now, enter your profile password and submit 
  • Details as per the bank records will get displayed
  • Look for the option “Change Mobile Number- Domestic only (Through ATM)” 
  • Click on it 
  • Next click on Create Request
  • Enter your new mobile number
  • Re-enter the mobile number
  • Now, click on IRATA (Internet Banking Request Approval through ATM)
  • Select the account for which you have debit card and then  proceed
  • Select the debit card from all active debit card linked to the account.
  • Enter card details like card number, cardholder name,. expiry date, cvv, etc.
  • Once successfully validated, a message will be displayed on the screen to complete the registration process. .
  • A SMS will be sent to your new registered mobile number with reference number and  IRATA reference number. 
  • Now, visit any nearest SBI ATM 
  • Swipe your debit card and select services
  • Enter your ATM PIN
  • Select others option on the screen
  • Choose 'Internet Banking Request Approval' option
  • Enter 10-digit reference number for approval
  • After successful completion of the process the request will be processed and the mobile number will be updated.

  • Visit the SBI NetBanking Page
  • Log in using your credentials 
  • Go to ‘My Accounts’ 
  • Click on ‘Profile’ to proceed.
  • Click on the profile link and enter the profile password
  • Details as per the bank records will be displayed
  • Select the ‘Change Mobile Number- Domestic only (Through ATM/OTP)’ option on the screen.
  • Click on the “Cancel Request” tab and choose the request
  • Click on the cancel request button 
  • A message will be displayed on the screen informing that the reference number XXXXXXXXX has been successfully cancelled.
