What is EPF 'Passbook Lite'?
EPF passbook lite is a new feature introduced on EPFO’s member portal. The EPF members don’t need to log in to the passbook portal in order to check passbook, summary or balances. Until now, members had to log in to a separate passbook portal to check their Provident Fund contributions, withdrawals, or advances.

Currently employees change jobs and their epf accounts gets transferred to the new employer’s PF office using the Form 13. Once the transfer is complete, the old pf office generates a transfer certificate which is known as Annexure K which is send to the new PF office. Annexure K was shared with the PF offices and the member on request. Now, members can directly download Annexure K (Transfer Certificate) in PDF format from the Member Portal. With this change, members can:
