  5. New Year’s Eve: People celebrate this day to welcome the Christian New Year. This is a global festival that people across several countries celebrate, including India.
  6. Imoinu Iratpa: People from the Meitei community in Manipur dedicate this festival to Goddess Imoinu Ahongbi.
  7. Death Anniversary of Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma: A day to remember Pa Togan Nengminja Sangma of Shillong in Meghalaya.
  8. Death Anniversary of U SoSo Tham: Meghalaya observes this day to remember U SoSo Tham. 
  9. Death Anniversary of U Kiang Nangbah: Meghalaya observes certain days to remember historic legends. This day is to remember U Kiang Nangbah of the state. 
  10. Losoong/Namsoong: This is a weeklong celebration that marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the Sikkimese New Year. Lepchas call it Namsoong and Sikkimese Bhutias call it Losoong.
