  4. Harela (16th July): Farmers across Uttarakhand observe this auspicious occasion on the new moon day of July. Primarily, the people show their reverence for farms and cows on this day.
  5. Death Anniversary of U Tirot Singh (17th July): It is a state holiday for Meghalaya on which the Chief Minister pays a floral tribute to the legendary freedom fighter U Tirot Singh at the memorial.
  6. Ker Puja (19th July): Ker is another prominent festival in Tripura that commences after the celebration of Kharchi Puja. It is a religious festival that is celebrated for almost two weeks.
  7. Drukpa Tshe-zi (28th July): It is a sacred day that marks the event of Lord Buddha’s first teachings. On this day, he sat with his first five disciples at Sarnath and the event is celebrated on the fourth day of the sixth month in the Buddhist lunar calendar.
