Features of the Aadhaar App
Multi Profile: Aadhaar holders can add up to five profiles to their profile section.
Biometric locking/unlocking: This function protects biometric authentication by locking biometric data. Once enabled, biometrics are locked until the Aadhaar bearer unlocks or disables the system.
Update of profile: Following a successful update request, the app shows updated
Aadhaar profile data: Sharing QR codes and valid credentials allows users to share their Aadhaar information for paperless verification.
Offline access: The software allows a user to scan the QR code on his Aadhaar card for offline verification.
As of today, Aadhaar subscribers must still visit an enrolment site to have their mobile numbers updated. However, with the impending deployment, the days of standing in line for this normal update may come to an end.
