SBI QUICK- How to Register, Services & Charges Involved

SBI offers various facilities making online banking easier. One such facility is SBI Quick, using it you can avail several services. You can check your SBI balance using internet banking, mobile banking, missed calls and an ATM. Customers can now check their SBI Savings Account balance utilising the SBI Quick service via their registered cellphone number. This can also be done with the SBI Quick App, which is available for Android and iOS smartphones.
What is SBI-Quick?
SBI Quick MISSED CALL BANKING is a free service provided by the bank that allows you to obtain your Account Balance, Mini Statement, and other information simply by making a missed call or sending an SMS in a pre-defined format to a specific mobile number from the registered mobile phone. You can easily download this app from google playstore, appstore.
With this app, you don't have to memorise many keywords and destination mobile numbers. Once the app is installed, no internet connection is required to use SBI Quick, as communication takes place via SMS or missed call. It is important to note that accessing this service does not require the use of a mobile app.

How to Register for SBI-Quick?
- SMS 'REG Account Number' to 07208933148, e.g. REG 12345678901.
- Use the registered cellphone number for the account.
- You will receive a confirmation message stating whether your registration was successful or unsuccessful.
- If successful, you can begin using the services.
- Using this service requires a registered mobile number and if it is not up-to-date you need to visit the bank for update.

What are the Services Availed through SBI-Quick?
To obtain the last 'clean' balance on the account-
Give a missed call or send an SMS 'BAL' to 919223766666 in the format "MODBAL" to "919223766666" in order to check balance and MOD balance as response via SMS.
Mini Statement.
Give a missed call or send an SMS 'MSTMT' to 919223766666 in order to get a SBI Mini Statement, which includes the account's previous five transactions.
Acknowledgement of Cheque Book Requests-
- Send an SMS "CHQREQ" to 917208933145.
- Once send, you'll receive an SMS.
- Now, Send a consent SMS (CHQACCY6 digit number obtained in SMS) to 917208933145 within two hours of receiving the SMS.
Cheque Book Request Send the message-
- Send an SMS "CHQREQ" to 91720893314 and you'll receive an SMS.
- Now, send consent SMS (CHQACCY6 digit number received in SMS) to 09223588888 within 2 hours of receiving the SMS.
E-Statement -
Customers can get e-statements for the last 6 months which will be delivered to the registered mobile number as a password encrypted PDF file. Send SMS 'ESTMT to 917208933145.

ENROLL Positive Pay System (PPS)-
- Cheque details can be enrolled in a positive pay system for which registration is required.
- Once registered is complete then submit the details of issued cheque by sending the details to 07208933145
- SMS format- You can send SMS in the format : CHQL Cheque No amount Date of issuance Y/N Beneficiary Name.
- Once SMS is sent, you will reive a confirmation message with the status of cheque details.

How to Generate ATM PIN Through SMS?
- Send SMS to 567676 from your registered mobile phone in the format:
- PIN CCCC AAAA. Where XXXX is the final four digits of the ATM card number, and YYYY is the last four digits of the account number.
- Now an otp will be received on your registered mobile number which can be used to update SBI Debit Card PIN at any ATM. The update can be initiated in two days as OTP is valid for only two days.

How to Deregister with SBI-Quick?
- SMS 'DREG' to 917208933148.
- You will receive a confirmation message stating whether your de-registration was successful or failed.
- Once complete, you won’t be able to use the service.
- If unsuccessful, check the format and destination mobile number before attempting again.
