HSBC Net Banking

HSBC credit cardholders can pay bills online via netbanking after registration. Simply, you have to log in, go to the credit cards section, select your credit card, choose the payment option, enter the amount, and complete the transaction. 

Visa Money Transfer

You can conveniently transfer funds from your bank account to your HSBC VISA credit card online using the VISA Money Transfer service. Contact your bank for detailed instructions on how to use this payment option.

Standing Instructions

Standing Instructions allow your bank to automatically debit the credit card due amount each month from your preferred bank account.

NEFT / RTGS

To pay your HSBC credit card bill via NEFT/RTGS, first, you have to add your HSBC card as a beneficiary using your bank’s net banking portal by entering your name, 16-digit card number, and IFSC code (HSBC0400002). Once added, choose NEFT or RTGS under funds transfer, choose your card, enter the amount, and complete the payment.

HSBC Mobile Banking

You can use the HSBC India mobile banking app to pay credit card bills. Simply log in, select ’Credit Cards,’ choose the payment amount (total, minimum, or other), and complete your payment. 

UPI

Log in to any UPI application, go to the UPI Payments section, select ‘send money using account details’, enter your credit card account number and IFSC code, specify the amount and complete the payment. Before payment, do not forget to check your UPI transaction limit.

Bill Desk

To pay your HSBC credit card bill using the bill desk, simply enter your 16-digit card number, the amount you wish to pay, and select your bank account. 

You will be securely redirected to your bank’s payment interface, where you authenticate using your net banking credentials and confirm the payment. 

Offline Ways to Pay the HSBC Credit Card Bill

In case you are unable to pay using online methods, you can complete the payment even through offline channels:

  • HSBC Branch: You can pay your credit card bills at the branch using cash or a cheque. Payments must be made before the due date to avoid penalties.
  • HSBC ATM: You can pay HSBC credit card bills by depositing cash or a cheque at any HSBC ATM before the due date. Alternatively, payments can be made via fund transfer using a debit card.
  • Mail Cheque/Draft: HSBC credit card bill payment can be done by sending a cheque or a demand draft to any nearby HSBC branch before the due date. 

HSBC Credit Card Bill Payment Charges

There are no additional charges for paying your HSBC credit card bills. However, you have to pay charges for late payments and finance as follows:

  • Late Payment Fees: HSBC credit card late payment charges vary between ₹250 to a maximum of ₹1,200 per billing cycle. For the HSBC Premier card, the maximum fee is capped at ₹750.
  • Interest Charges: The finance charges of HSBC Bank credit cards vary between different card variants. The interest rates range between 29.88% and 41.88% per annum.
