• You need to provide the Aadhaar Card of one parent.

• OCI cardholders can submit their foreign passports if they stayed in India for more than 182 days in the last 12 months.
• Resident foreigners who lived for more than 182 days in India can submit a valid visa or foreign passport.

• Visit the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI).

• Now, navigate to the section 'My Aadhaar' and choose 'Book an Appointment'.

• On the new page, choose the city you want to book an appointment 

• Click on proceed to book appointment

• Now on the next page, enter mobile number and captcha code 
• Click on Get OTP
• Enter the OTP 
• Now, select the date of appointment
• You will receive a confirmation message about the appointment via SMS
• On the date of appointment, visit the aadhaar centre
• The parent whose Aadhaar card is to be connected with the child’s card must submit his/her biometrics. 
• Submit all the required documents with the application form

How to Apply for Baal Aadhaar Card Offline?

You can apply for an Aadhaar Card for your child through an offline process as well: 

• Visit your nearest Aadhaar enrolment centre.
• Fill out an aadhaar enrolemnt form at the centre for Baal or Blue Aadhaar with the required information.
• The parent whose Aadhaar card is to be connected with the child’s card must submit his/her biometrics. 
• Submit important documents with the application form at the centre.
• After submitting the documents, you will receive an acknowledgement receipt with a registration number. 

You will receive your child's Aadhaar Card via post within 2 to 3 months.

How to Track the Application Status of Baal Aadhaar Card Online? 

Follow the below steps to track the application status of your child's Aadhaar Card.

• Visit the official website of UIDAI.

• Under ‘My Aadhaar’, click on aadhaar status 

• myAadhaar page will open with various services options listed

• Scroll down and click on check enrolment and update status

• On the next page, enter your enrolment ID displayed on the receipt you got after submitting documents at the enrolment centre for the Baal Aadhaar Card.

• Mention the time and enrolment date printed on the acknowledgement slip. 
• Enter the captcha code and click on 'Submit'.
• You will be redirected to the next page and there, click on ‘Check Status’. 

How to Download the Aadhaar Card for Children?

Follow the Baal Aadhaar Card download process to get a soft copy of the card:

• Visit the official UIDAI website. 

• Under ‘My Aadhaar’, click on download aadhaar

• You can choose aadhaar number, enrolment number or virtual ID 

• Enter what you have chosen aadhaar number, enrolment number or virtual ID
• If chosen enrolment number, mention the time and enrolment date printed on the acknowledgement slip. 
• Enter the captcha code 
• Click on send ‘OTP’ and an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number with your Aadhaar Card. 
• Indicate if you require a masked aadhaar card and enter the OTP.
• Click the option ‘Download Aadhaar’ and a soft copy of the Baal Aadhaar Card will be downloaded.
• After downloading, enter the password as the first four letters of your child's name in the capital, followed by your child's birth year in YYYY format. 

Online Update Process for Baal Aadhaar Card

• Visit the myAadhaar website and choose ‘Login’.

• Enter your child's Aadhaar number, fill in the captcha and click on 'send OTP'.

• You will receive the OTP on the registered mobile number, enter it and click 'Login'.
• Click on the tab known as ‘Document Update’. 
• Verify the demographic details and upload 'proof of address' and 'proof of identity'.
